I have been drinking honey and lemon for many years, however I have added additional these additional fresh ingredients ginger and turmeric.

Making your Sun Up drink
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of warm water
- Juice of half a lemon
- Small piece of fresh ginger, squashed and finely chopped
- Small piece of fresh turmeric, squashed and finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon of honey
Instructions:
- Warm the water (not boiling, to preserve the nutrients in honey).
- Add the lemon juice, ginger, and turmeric to the water.
- Stir in the honey until it dissolves completely.
- Let the mixture steep for a few minutes, then strain if desired.
- Enjoy
- Optional: Add Cayenne pepper for a spicy kick, on occasions I do add this ingredient the benefits are it enhances blood flow and reduces blood pressure.
